Goblin Slayer (2018)

S1E1 The Fate of Certain Adventurers

A novice Priestess teams up with a band of inexperienced adventurers intent on exploring a goblin-infested cave. Their plans take a dark turn when they are unexpectedly ambushed, leading to the demise, abduction, or assault of all but the Priestess. Just in time, Goblin Slayer arrives and dispatches the goblins threatening her life. Inspired by his skill, she chooses to accompany him deeper into the cave, where he imparts knowledge on goblin behavior and combat strategies. Together, they eliminate the remaining goblin forces, including a shaman and a hobgoblin. They stumble upon goblin infants, which Goblin Slayer eliminates to avert future dangers. Despite the harrowing events, the Priestess resolves to become Goblin Slayer’s companion on his quests.
