Oliver is eager to dive into farming, but Lisa insists that he first redecorate their house. Sam Drucker suggests a decorator from Pixley to help with the task. Meanwhile, Kate Bradley steps in to teach Lisa some kitchen basics, starting with a simple recipe for hotcakes, as Lisa struggles with cooking. The situation becomes even more hectic when Oliver's mother shows up, determined to save Lisa from the challenges of rural living.
