Frustrated with the constant fixes on the old generator Haney sold him, Oliver decides to investigate the state of his electricity. Discovering that his application was never sent, he resolves to confront the power company directly. However, he quickly realizes that nothing in Hooterville is straightforward or efficient; he ends up with a faulty meter that operates even when unplugged and an additional power pole inconveniently located by his bedroom window.
