S6E23 The Hole in the Porch

While repairing a leaky sink pipe, Oliver realizes he needs to tackle other repairs around the house, such as the loose floorboard on the front porch. Upon inspection, he finds it's dry rotted and requires replacement. To prevent accidents, he places a sturdier board over it until he can fix it. Mr. Kimball shows up, removes the board, and promptly trips, falling into the rotted section. Injured, he ends up recuperating at the Douglases' home, where Lisa tends to his foot. Meanwhile, Hank’s admirer, Ralph, arrives to play nurse, but his antics—like blowing a kazoo—only add to the chaos. Mr. Haney attempts to pressure Mr. Douglas into signing a $50,000 out-of-court settlement in Mr. Kimball’s favor, but after a refusal, he gets thrown out. With Mr. Kimball occupying Oliver's bed, the Douglases are forced to sleep in the barn. The next
