Lisa and Oliver decide to enroll in a college course together in Pixley. Oliver picks a farming class that meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while Lisa opts for a Psychology course that takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Soon, the quirky residents of Hooterville become captivated by “Doctor Lisa,” who uses her logical thinking to help Eb, Mr. Kimball, and Arnold with their various issues. Meanwhile, Mr. Haney attempts to sell Oliver a psychiatrist's couch once owned by Dr. Sigmund Frood. Frustrated, Oliver schedules a visit with “the doctor” after interrupting Mr. Drucker's therapy session. Ultimately, Lisa decides to give up her practice to reclaim her role as Oliver’s wife.
