In the tumultuous backdrop of 1971 London, where open racism and intense nationalism are rampant, Marcus Hill and Jas Mitra, a pair of politically passionate young lovers, stand up against the daily injustices and entrenched biases they encounter. However, they are unaware that they have caught the attention of Special Branch's Black Power Desk, headed by the determined DCI Nicholas Pence and his assistant, Cullen, who are intent on monitoring their activities.
