Dee Dee and Big Dee Dee organize a surprise celebration for Charles and Big Dee Dee’s 24th wedding anniversary. While assembling a slideshow, Dee Dee realizes there are hardly any pictures of Mona with their dad. Feeling sympathetic, she makes several misguided efforts to lift Mona's spirits—first by crafting fake photos and then attempting to arrange a lunch between Mona and Charles—only to frustrate her sister further. Mona confides that she's come to terms with their strained relationship, and Dee Dee's actions are only reopening old wounds. Phyllis uncovers information revealing that Charles wasn’t as emotionally distant as he appeared. Meanwhile, Spencer develops feelings for Camille, a photographer working with Delicious Records. Adam tries to inform Mona of Spencer's interest, but they soon learn he’s already entangled with Camille. Meanwhile, Dee Dee grows increasingly irritated with her summer romance as it begins to complicate her life.
