Dee Dee competes against her law school adversary, Stephanie Seymour, for a coveted summer internship. Confident in her qualifications, Dee Dee is frustrated as Stephanie cozies up to the supervisor, Mr. Washington, and leverages her looks. In a bold move, Dee Dee opts for a daring outfit to her final interview, ultimately landing the position. However, Mr. Washington's inappropriate remarks leave her questioning if she was hired for her abilities or his ulterior motives. Meanwhile, Kai develops feelings for Spencer and enlists Mona to share this news. Spencer is excited and sees a chance to benefit his career through Kai, but he panics when she brings up the idea of a relationship on their first date.
