Eager to bond with Phyllis, Dee Dee arranges a date between her and her jaded, recently divorced professor. Unfortunately, the romance quickly collapses, leading the professor to retaliate by reporting Phyllis for her excessive number of cats. Phyllis, feeling betrayed, holds Dee Dee responsible for the mess. In her attempts to fix things, Dee Dee inadvertently complicates the issue even further.
