Queen Marlena revisits her past crash landing on Eternia through Man-At-Arms' new 'mind projector.' Meanwhile, Teela attempts to use the device to uncover her mother's identity but grows frustrated when it fails to show her anything. Determined to find answers, she sets off for the Crystal Sea in hopes of locating the legendary Oracle, the one being who might reveal the truth about her parents. However, Mer-Man, who was previously defeated by Man-At-Arms, seeks revenge and plots to use Teela as a sacrifice to a sea god.
