When Lady Edwina, King Randor's stunning but pretentious niece, arrives at the Palace, Orko finds himself infatuated and attempts to win her favor. Reminiscing about a magical medallion he lost during a storm upon his arrival on Eternia, where he once saved a young Prince Adam and Cringer from the Tar Swamp, he decides to search for it. Unfortunately, he ventures into the swamp at the same time as Skeletor, who, alongside Evil Lyn and Beast Man, is concocting a potion to awaken ancient swamp creatures for a surprise assault on the Royal Palace.
