For years, the Royal Palace of Eternia has relied on shipments of photanium, the universe’s strongest metal, from the moon of Phantos to create powerful weapons. However, Skeletor has decided to seize the photanium for himself. Instead of the valuable metal, Man-At-Arms receives a pile of worthless ore. When Queen Elmora, the moon’s ruler, opposes Skeletor’s plan, he casts a spell on her, causing her to age and turn evil. Realizing they've been given useless materials, He-Man and his friends travel to Phantos to investigate, only to discover Skeletor enslaving workers to mine the precious metal.
