An envoy from a distant kingdom arrives at the Royal Palace to offer King Randor a gift. However, Man-At-Arms quickly realizes that the visitor is actually Skeletor in disguise. In a bid to thwart him, he is transformed into a crystal statue. He-Man and Teela embark on a quest to the Isles of Darksmoke, where the wise and ancient dragon Granamyr holds the key to reversing Man-At-Arms' condition. Their mission is fraught with challenges, as Granamyr is wary of humans and agrees to help only if they destroy the living tree known as Skytree. Faced with a moral dilemma, will He-Man sacrifice a life to save his friend?
