During a skiing trip in the frigid landscapes of Eternia, the Royal Family falls into the clutches of an Ice Lord. In a moment of desperation, Orko frightens the Ice Lord by pretending to be He-Man. The Ice Lord reveals that Skeletor has taken his daughter hostage and demands the Royal Family in exchange for her release. Orko manages to persuade the Ice Lord to let Prince Adam go, whom he refers to as his "assistant." Once free, Adam transforms into He-Man, teaming up with Orko to venture to Snake Mountain and rescue the Ice Lord's daughter.
