Skeletor hatches a devious plan to capture Queen Marlena, intending to lure He-Man to his robotic bird, Screeech. He dispatches Whiplash, Merman, Clawful, and Kobra Khan to execute his plot. Kobra Khan uses sleep gas to incapacitate the Royal Family and kidnaps Marlena, taking her through the Haunted Forest to Snake Mountain. Meanwhile, Whiplash and Clawful create misleading tracks leading away from the true route. Once the Royal Family regains consciousness, He-Man, Man-At-Arms, and Teela follow the false trail. However, Cringer’s keen sense of smell reveals the real path, prompting him and Orko to pursue Marlena, giving Cringer an opportunity to show he’s not a coward.
