Chad arrives in Eternos with his older brother, Johno, who is set to receive the esteemed 'Boy of the Year' award. Unbeknownst to everyone, Johno is struggling with a severe addiction to a dangerous substance called The Black Nightmare, which he has been obtaining from Count Marzo. During the award ceremony, his obsession leads him to perform a reckless stunt that backfires, resulting in embarrassment and the king retracting his award. Despite this, young boys in the crowd are captivated by Johno's actions, prompting Count Marzo to exploit his influence over them. As the heroes recognize the threat, they must act quickly to save Johno from his addiction and protect the children of Eternia from the villain's scheme.
