Kobra Khan approaches the heroic warriors with a proposal for peace, seeking their assistance. He explains that his former clan, the Reptons, is facing a dire crisis after someone has turned off the furnace that warms their underground realm, leaving them in an unbearable chill. Khan requests their help to identify the culprit and restore the furnace’s heat. He-Man, Man-At-Arms, Battle Cat, and Orko accompany Khan to the Reptons' kingdom, but soon discover that Khan isn't trustworthy—he's the one who sabotaged the furnace and plans to blame He-Man for it, hoping to seize the Repton King's crown for himself!
