In a bid to promote their detective agency, a determined Hetty takes Geoffrey on a tour of the town, handing out flyers. Their efforts pay off when they attract a new client: a woman whose son, Reg, has gone missing from his group home after being diagnosed with schizophrenia. As Hetty delves deeper into the case, she uncovers the challenges Reg has faced with societal acceptance, particularly from his stepfather, who was responsible for abandoning him. With Reg off his medication and in a precarious mental state, Hetty races against time to locate him before he can harm himself or others.
