S1E4 Hope x And x Ambition

In the first challenge, several contestants drop out from exhaustion after running over forty kilometers. Leorio is on the brink of quitting when Gon stops to encourage him. We also meet Killua, who becomes intrigued by Gon’s character upon realizing they’re the same age. Kurapika and Leorio share their motivations for becoming hunters. Kurapika aims to confront the Phantom Troupe, responsible for the massacre of his clan, who were targeted for their unique scarlet eyes. Leorio, on the other hand, seeks wealth to fund his dream of becoming a doctor and provide free healthcare, motivated by the loss of a childhood friend. Eventually, the group emerges from the tunnel into the Numere Wetlands, commonly referred to as Swindlers' Swamp.
