After a tragic plane crash claims his father's life, Tony Stark finds himself alone and orphaned. His father's puzzling final wish is for him to stay with the Rhodes family and attend school. With the support of Pepper Potts and his friend Jim Rhodes, the 16-year-old prodigy starts to delve into the dubious dealings of Obadiah Stane, the newly appointed C.E.O. of Stark Industries. However, lurking in the shadows is an even more menacing adversary: The Mandarin.
