As Tony and Gene discover the third Makluan Ring, a heated debate erupts about its fate. In a bid to assert control, Gene inadvertently activates its guardian, Ultimo. Iron Man steps in to confront Ultimo, but soon realizes he must also face the reemergence of the Mandarin, complicating the situation further.
