Episode Overview
Ed, a critical witness in a high-profile case, is shot and gravely wounded by an unknown assailant. Facing the possibility of paralysis, he battles for his life from the confines of his hospital bed while the Chief investigates who is still intent on eliminating him. As Ed fights for recovery, he learns that his best hope lies in an experimental surgery led by a surgeon whose ethical standards are soon called into question.
