With a spot finally available in the graduate program Jane has been anticipating, she faces a significant motherhood challenge: the possibility of leaving Mateo earlier than she planned. Meanwhile, Rafael is still processing Petra's revelation while working with Jane to organize Mateo's baptism. Xo steps in to assist Rogelio in facing his past, even though it puts her in an awkward position. On another front, Michael attempts to follow Rogelio's advice on dealing with Jane, but putting it into practice proves to be more difficult than he expected.
