Just a week into his time at Shuchiin Academy as a special scholarship student, Shirogane began to regret his decision to attend a school that felt beyond his reach. Surrounded by peers from prestigious families, he found himself isolated, unable to connect with anyone for lunch and often spending his breaks alone. As his feelings of loneliness peaked, an upperclassman wearing a student cap approached him. Adorned with a gleaming golden fourragere symbolizing his role as student council president, he informed Shirogane that he was there to invite him to join the student council.
