Kai visits the bookstore to pick up the latest volume of "Forward World." Upon arrival, he spots Ryo and instinctively tries to steer clear of him. Memories of Rio's words about her brother linger in his mind, casting a shadow on his mood. As he reaches for a copy of the new volume, his hand accidentally brushes against Ryo's. Meanwhile, Arie successfully snags the new book at a different store and bumps into Ichika. They discover they share a favorite character, leading to a delightful connection. On her way home, Arie finds herself pondering Ryo and comes to a realization.
