Lily's troubled past resurfaces when her estranged ex-con husband, Frank, arrives in town, and she chooses not to reveal his identity to Dan. Dan's instincts kick in, and he grows wary of Frank, rightly so. Frank has taken their son, Tommy, hostage to coerce Lily into assisting with a bank robbery. As Lily struggles to manage the situation on her own, her attempts to shield Dan from the truth only heighten his suspicions.
