S2E34 The Parting

A fugitive is ready to surrender to Dan Troop, but he has one condition: the reward money should go to Jennie, the woman he loves, so she can travel to Chicago for medical care. Unbeknownst to him, she is battling a terminal illness and is determined to keep it a secret. While he faces a life sentence for his actions, he also hides this truth from her. During their emotional farewell, they vow to reunite one day, fully aware that their promise is unlikely to be fulfilled.
