After two students from the area vanish, Alaric tasks Hope, Lizzie, MG, and Landon with looking into the situation at Mystic Falls High. At the same time, Josie assists Rafael in settling into school, but his hesitance to adhere to the wolf pack's regulations makes him a target. Meanwhile, an alarming revelation creates tension between Alaric and Sheriff Donovan.
