Sang-eun is thrown into a panic after learning about a perplexing car accident, prompting her to hurry to the hospital. There, Ji-ho offers her solace, leading to a deepening bond between them. Hae-jin publicly declares his split from Sang-eun, while Chairman Gangjin pressures him to take a role within the Gangjin group. Feeling insecure, Seon-jin exploits Sang-eun's situation to gain favor with his father. Concurrently, Ji-ho becomes suspicious of the car accident and begins to look into the circumstances surrounding it.
