The weapon used in their murder links back to a notorious string of unsolved homicides that has plagued the LAPD. As Captain Sharon Raydor and her team work to unravel the case, Amy Sykes finds herself forming a hesitant partnership with a disgraced ex-LAPD detective who has a controversial theory and a questionable history.
