Maverick (1957)

Episode Overview

Bret Maverick confronts a greedy gambler in Echo Springs and manages to outsmart him. Along the way, he strikes up a friendship with an inebriated man who surprisingly reveals himself to be a distinguished judge. Maverick then negotiates a deal with the gambler, Phineas King, to combine the resources of the "silver lady" mine with those of the "new hope" mine.
