Bret is hired by a wealthy Texan to rescue her brother, Mark, from the clutches of a scheming woman named Melanie. Disguised as a Texas Colonel, Bret soon discovers he’s dealing with a skilled con artist. With Mark’s assistance and brother Bart’s entrance as a rich Easterner, they devise a plan to trap Melanie.
