Maverick (1957)

Episode Overview

Beau Maverick unexpectedly becomes the owner of Silver Hill, a mine deemed worthless. Meanwhile, a shady railroad agent named Shanks schemes to swindle the locals by offering them a price far less than its true value. In a bid to help, Beau persuades the town to move Silver Hill to a sheep ranch situated twenty miles away. However, disaster strikes when a new silver vein is found in the previously thought useless mine, allowing Shanks to take ownership without paying a dime. The townspeople's only chance is to return to Silver Hill before the railroad seizes control of the land.
