Episode Overview

Ferguson, a cunning con artist, knocks Beau Maverick out cold while trying to steal a valuable diamond necklace from a French countess. After the incident, Ferguson insists that the countess's diamond is a fake and that he was merely swapping it with the genuine article when Beau interrupted him. To sweeten the deal, Ferguson proposes giving Beau $5,000 to make the exchange. Unbeknownst to Beau, he’s being set up for a robbery by Ferguson and his equally crafty wife.
