Episode Overview

After the assassination of the newspaper publisher Bart had taken over, a crooked U.S. Senator retaliates by slapping the Chronicle with a $100,000 libel lawsuit. Fortunately, Bart's friend Doc Holiday is in town for a dental convention and owes him $2,000. When Doc boasts, “I have enough collateral to raise the dead!” Bart sees no issue in selling half of his troubles to Doc. With the senator and his shady political ally being Ivy League graduates, having the smooth-talking Philadelphia dentist on his side will prove beneficial.
