While in town, Yamato and his friends encounter a street gang linked to Ryugo's past. Curiosity leads them to trail the gang to their hidden lair, where they are shocked to discover the identity of the gang's leader. A heated brawl ensues, but just as things escalate, Reiji shows up to intervene. With new orders to return to base, Yamato and his friends join forces with Reiji for their first battle together, ready to face the challenges ahead.
