Ignoring the concerns of his fellow bandmates, Nathan embarks on a serious relationship with a devoted fan. However, as troubling details about her past emerge, he decides to investigate her further by attending Klokikon, the infamous Dethklok fan convention known for its intense fandom, cosplay, and unique fan art. Meanwhile, the other members of the band find themselves drawn to smoking after Murderface graces the cover of Smokaroonie Aficionado, leading to unexpected changes within the group.
