Tohru, the self-proclaimed ultimate maid, bursts into a newly opening maid café, fueled by a competitive spirit. But when she comes back, she exclaims, "I can't believe I'm working there now!" As they navigate their everyday routines, Tohru and Miss Kobayashi discover through the news that the mountain where their fateful encounter took place has been destroyed.
