Mister Rogers' Neighborhood (1968)
S8E4 Episode 1394
Mister Rogers greets viewers with a set of inkblot cards, which he takes to the kitchen. He examines various inkblot images, discussing their shapes and meanings. To illustrate, he uses food coloring and a plain piece of paper to show how the inkblots are created. Pointing out an ink spot on his shirt, he shares how people sometimes feel frustrated about messes that need attention. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Barbara B. Frisbee and Handyman Negri survey the residents about the purpose of a giant frisbee. While some offer imaginative theories, others worry about a giant's arrival. After Barbara nearly reveals the truth, X the Owl deduces that the frisbee is actually a tap dancing stage. With the dancing underway, everyone feels reassured and lets go of their giant-related fears.
