He engages in a conversation about table settings and the various elements commonly found in a restaurant before ordering a sandwich loaded with cheese, lettuce, and tomato on whole wheat. Excitedly, he accepts an invitation to the kitchen, where he watches the chef craft his meal. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the royal picnic preparations are in full swing as King Friday sends out new directives. Lady Aberlin and Henrietta Pussycat collaborate to discover a passageway between Corney's factory and the Museum Go-Round. Inside, they stumble upon a garden featuring a central fruit tree. Just as they start picking fruit, X the Owl arrives with ideas for a fruit salad.
