S1E1 Herr Dr. Tenma

Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a top neurosurgeon at Dusseldorf Hospital, is celebrated for successfully operating on a renowned opera singer. Despite the accolades, he feels deep remorse. Under pressure from the hospital director, he chose to operate on the singer instead of a man whose life was also at stake. When the director later insists he perform surgery on the mayor, Tenma defies the order, choosing instead to save a young boy brought in from a serial murder scene. The boy's twin sister, still traumatized, keeps murmuring the chilling phrase, "kill him."
