Lunge concludes that the murder of a rich, middle-aged couple without children doesn’t match the standard pattern of the serial killings. Seizing this chance, he plans to ensnare Tenma in a trap. However, just as he prepares to apprehend him, Lunge is seriously injured by the actual culprit. Despite the chaos, Tenma manages to administer first aid to Lunge’s wounds.
