After Mr. G discovers a strange crystal skull in his garden and brings it to class, he accidentally awakens an ancient Mayan Sky Queen who seizes control of his classroom. She charms all the boys at school into aiding her in a ritual intended to unite her with the Sun King and bring about the world's end. Initially feeling envious, Sarah and Erica soon realize it's their responsibility to rescue the school—and humanity—from the Queen's disastrous scheme. They ponder what Ethan and Benny would do and, with Grandma's guidance, devise a plan to block the sun, harness the moon, and save the day.
