While searching for Yūkimaru, Naruto unexpectedly encounters Guren. Just then, Yamato and Kakashi find him and escort him back to the rest of the team. Kabuto reveals to Guren that Yūkimaru is merely a pawn for controlling the Three-Tails, which disturbs her greatly. Meanwhile, Shizune, Ino, Tenten, and Lee regroup with the team, informing them that their new objective is to rescue Yūkimaru and secure the Three-Tails before Orochimaru’s group can seize it.
