Hanare, a spy from the Hidden Lock Village, is apprehended by ANBU while posing as a musician. During her interrogation, they find it difficult to extract any useful information. As the questioning unfolds, glimpses of her past and her connection to Kakashi come to light. Meanwhile, Team 7 observes them around town, mistakenly believing they are a couple. When the Hidden Lock Village takes a Leaf Village ninja hostage, they agree to exchange him for Hanare. It’s soon revealed that Hanare possesses a unique ability, leading to a thrilling chase. Ultimately, Kakashi decides to set her free. Later, a musician performing for the Konoha ninja reminds Kakashi of Hanare, triggering a nostalgic flashback.
