While taking a break, Naruto drifts into memories of the moments that strengthened his bond with Sasuke. As he attempts to follow Kakashi, who is heading after Sakura, Yamato intervenes, informing him that Kakashi has instructed him to bring Naruto back to Konoha. Determined to escape, Naruto crafts a scheme to create a shadow clone to distract Yamato. He enters Sage Mode to track down Kakashi and begins recalling the painful experiences that Sasuke endured. This reflection leads Naruto to contemplate how he can help Sasuke if they meet again.
