With a day off ahead of him, Sai takes the opportunity to wander through the village and sketch. He soon runs into three children, struggling to connect with them at first. However, he quickly notices that two of them resemble his teammates, Naruto and Sakura. This sparks a series of memories about their shared experiences and the strong bonds they've built. Ultimately, he decides to make use of the doors from a ruined house, creating a mural that beautifully depicts Team 7, featuring Sasuke holding hands with them.
