Following the Great War, numerous missing and rogue ninjas have found refuge in the Land of Silence. Sai, who has secretly entered the area to gather information, manages to send an enigmatic message back to the Leaf. Eager to uncover the truth, Shikamaru sets off for the Land of Silence accompanied by two ANBU members, Soku and Ro. Their first challenge lies in breaching a heavily secured checkpoint.
