S1E10 Bedloe Strikes Again

After the Hooterville Hornets, under Uncle Joe's coaching, suffer a humiliating defeat, the Cannonball and its main passenger, Uncle Joe, become targets of egg-throwing fans. Surprisingly, Homer Bedloe joins them on board, exhibiting an unexpectedly friendly demeanor despite his usual antagonism. Uncle Joe is unfazed by Bedloe's behavior, but Kate suspects he has ulterior motives. Tension rises when Sam learns that railroad executives John Fisher and Max Thornton will be conducting an unannounced inspection the next day. The group scrambles to tidy up the Cannonball, keep Bedloe distracted, and impress the visitors with the service, ultimately succeeding in winning their approval.
