S1E13 A Night at the Hooterville Hilton
Uncle Joe's imaginative brochure showcasing the future of the Shady Rest Hotel is mistakenly sent to travel writer Gladys Stroud of The Centerville Sun Express. The brochure features his ambitious plans, including an indoor ice rink, bowling alley, and swimming pool. Intrigued, Gladys decides to visit for a review, prompting the family to frantically hide the hotel's lack of amenities to avoid being shut down for false advertising. Despite their attempts to mislead her, Gladys eventually uncovers the truth. However, Uncle Joe cleverly persuades her to spare the hotel from closure.
